Legal · Refund Policy
If it doesn't fit, you get your money back.
Fourteen days, no ceremony. This page is the whole policy — short enough to read before you buy, plain enough to hold us to.

The short version
Every purchase of a PM Vault instrument or Library product — across the portfolio line (Watch, Gate, Steer, Count), the single-project line (Cadence, Foresight, Converge) and the Library (the Field Guide and the Day-One Toolkit), or any bundle of them — carries a 14-day refund window. If within 14 days of purchase you decide it doesn't fit the way you run projects, ask for a refund and you will get one.
We will ask one question: what didn't work. The answer helps us fix things, and answering is optional. The refund does not depend on it.
How to request a refund
Email info@pmvault.org with the order ID from your purchase receipt. That is the only thing we need. Refunds are issued to the original payment method, normally within a few business days; the exact timing of the money reaching your account depends on your bank or card issuer.
You don't need to explain yourself, return anything, or fill in a form. Once the refund is issued, we ask that you delete the instrument and stop using your license key. Our instruments validate keys locally and never phone home, so we cannot revoke a key remotely — this part of the policy runs on good faith, and we extend the same good faith to you.
When we may decline
We reserve the right to decline a refund only in cases of abuse. Two patterns count as abuse: repeated purchase-and-refund cycles for the same product, and a license key that has been shared or activated well beyond the seats it was sold for. Outside those cases, a request inside the 14-day window is honored.
Requests made after the 14-day window are at our discretion. Write to us anyway — if something is genuinely broken, the window is not how we hide from it.
Free materials
The free instruments and materials, and everything else we publish at no charge, involve no payment, so there is nothing to refund. If a free instrument disappoints you, the only thing we ask for is the feedback.
Who processes your payment
When checkout opens, purchases will be processed by Paddle as merchant of record. That means Paddle will be the party that sells you the license, issues your receipt, and handles payment processing, sales tax, and VAT for your jurisdiction. Refunds under this policy will be issued through Paddle, and Paddle's own buyer terms will apply alongside this policy. Until checkout opens, no payment is collected anywhere on this site.
VAT and sales tax are calculated and remitted by Paddle at checkout. A refund returns the full amount you paid, tax included.
Your statutory rights
Nothing on this page limits rights you hold under the consumer law of your country. Where local law grants you more than this policy does, local law wins. This policy sits alongside our Terms and the EULA; if they ever appear to conflict on refunds, this page governs.
